First stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for RRB Railway Exam: From 17th September 2018

RRB Group D 2018 Section-wise Questions

According to official notice, RRB Railway Exam for Grpup D will have 55 questions from Maths & Reasoning topic and 45 questions from General Science, GK & Current Affairs topic. The total time of Computer based test will be 90 minutes. There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.


The syllabus for  RRB Railway Group D Exam 2018 CBT shall be as below


Mathematics
Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.

General Intelligence and Reasoning

Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.


General Science

The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level.



General awareness on current affairsin Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and other subjects of importance.
